Among the 6 proposed rule changes, including a rule about "field conditions" was this proposal:
"Player safety: Offensive players will not be allowed to block low when going toward their own end lines in the tackle box. Can’t go low when peeling back anywhere on the field."
Does this sound like they are trying to eliminate the "Zone Blocking Scheme?"
If so, does this not seem like a another/constant attack by the league towards the Washington Redskins?
Very few teams incorporate the Zone Blocking Scheme on offense the way Mike Shanahan's Staff does.
