Today is the real Christmas morning for Redskins owner, Dan Snyder - the start of free agency at 4PM. Unfortunately, the Redskins only have approximately just under $4 million in cap room with their draft picks still to sign.

2012 Redskins hitting free agency: Lorenzo Alexander, Brandon Banks, Jordan Black, Chris Cooley, Fred Davis, Kedric Golston, Cedric Griffin, Rex Grossman, Tyler Polumbus, Sav Rocca, Madieu Williams, Chris Wilson.
Free Agents Signed: Tackle, Tony Pashos
2012 Redskins that were re-signed: Rob Jackson, Logan Paulsen, Nick Sundberg, Darrel Young, Kory Lichtensteiger
2012 Redskins that were terminated: DeAngelo Hall
2012 Redskins that were tendered: NT Chris Baker
In other news:
- Tony Gonzalez is returning to the Falcons, so that's one less spot for Fred Davis.
- Mike Shanahan has already said he'd like Fred Davis and Lorenzo to come back, but the Redskins need to make a lot more room to cover both of them (assuming there is a market for them).
