My fantasy team missed the playoffs by a narrow margin, finding itself instead in a consolation bracket. So, in a move that would make Mike Shanahan proud, I decided to sit all the good players. Drew Brees? Benched for Kirk Cousins. Andre Johnson? Benched for Aldrick Robinson.
Yes, I picked up enough Redskins to have a starting lineup entirely composed of them. I already had Alfred Morris. I'm projected to win. My opponent apparently cares about it as much as I do, as he is starting RGIII,
I had to pick up Rex Grossman as my backup QB. You can't have too many gunslingers.
Of course, in order to win I probably need either Logan Paulsen to outscore Jimmy Graham or Helu to outscore Chris Johnson. But, in the time-honored tradition of Redskins fans everywhere, why not dream? Go big or go home (or go big because you are being forced to go home.) I'm sure Shanahan would agree, while Snyder couldn't but admire my skills in acquiring all of his favorite players. If I win, maybe I can apply for the GM job.
