Redskins/Snyder have made huge strides in past couple years. Snyder has become a good owner, unlike Jerry Jones. Redskins have real football people running the team. I like most of what we have done with draft and team building. Redskins have future elite QB.
But, Redskins are failing..... due to game coaching and preparation....(also hurt by salary cap issue)
No excuse for Redskins not dominating the NFC East this year, though it is understandable that RG3 was simply not ready to play for most of the year to date. Losing to the Vikings this week, with chance to get to 4-5, then 5-5 next week.... is the last straw.
Simply too much underachievement.
Redskins Defense, STeams, and offensive play calling are atrocious and beneath us...
Redskins may still win division this year... they should.. though may only have 8 wins...
but.. the performance right now is unacceptable
ENOUGH! Time for a change. Shanahan has done well; I am grateful.. but he is old, not performing as he should win/loss wise, and has too many weakling coaches working for him. I would go all in for Shaw. I do not like hiring college coaches but I think he may be different; I think he may be special. He is a class act. He wins with physical pro style. He wins w/o an overwhelming talent advantage (unlike most successful college coaches). I think he translates very well to the NFL. I think he would relate well and have respect of our players. Redskins need to go all in for Shaw regardless of our finish.
We can and should win multiple Super Bowls this decade.. it is time to move forward!
