NFL owners approve $27 million funding to FedEx Field renovations, per report

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Post's Mark Maske reports that owners have approved a motion to upgrade various features of FedEx Field.

The FedEx Field experience is likely to get a boost, due to an agreement between NFL owners during Tuesday's meetings in Washington.

According to The Washington Post's Mark Maske, owners have agreed to use league funds to cover a portion of a $27 million renovation to FedEx Field, although the amount that the NFL is willing to cover is not yet known.

Maske adds that the renovations will include Wi-Fi, seating changes, new signage and an expanded Hall of Fame display.

No confirmation of the agreement has been made public by league officials at this time.
