The New Era of Safety HTTR

Safety was a big issue for the Washington redskins this year. weather it was bad play from the guys you got in having one of your starters suspend and the other sideline 90% of the year with and injury.

where a long way from the promising days of Sean Taylor and Laron Landry putting fear in to players opposing teams hears with there speed and hard hitting ways.

This draft gives us the ability to get that back.

First i present

Dj swearinger (south Carliona Gamecocks)

Sr Fs 6`1 210 projected 3rd round - 4th round

Finish his Sr season with 79 tackles 2 picks and two force fumbles

A freelancing goon enforcer. Swearinger is probably the most fear safety Safety in college football as he delivers constant big hits this season making Wr think twice before catching the ball. The leader of a Tough SEC defense he was the single High safety in 4-2-5 system witch allowed him to have alot of responsibility and to cover a lot of different Ground. even some time playing corner due to injury. Draws some flags but he sends a message his favorite player is sean taylor he wears number 36 <--- highlight video <-- more detailed breakdown

Next Shamarko Thomas (Syracuse) 5-10. Weight: 210. SS (5th - undrafted) STEAL he has a nice frame and is known to be a good hitter and great tackler

at his jr pro day he ran an official laser time at 4.26 he is one of the fastest players in college football.

This versatile defender Has had playing time at linebacker, cornerback and safety.

75 tackles 1 sack 3 force fumbles and 2 picks.

he is short but with his speed ball hawking skills and abilty to cover the field sideline to sideline he fits good in the 3-4 system Against West Virginia in the Bowl game he was tasked with the job to check Tavon Austin one on one no easy task ..austin had 4 catches 30 yards <-- highlight

(scouting report up above b4 the bowl game)

with these two Safety's we would have a fast hard hitting tough young duo kinda like the 49ers have HTTR
