On a botched snap, Robert Griffin III twisted his right knee, collapsing to the ground as the Seahawks recovered the ensuing fumble. Griffin had been favoring the knee since the first quarter, but Mike Shanahan elected to keep him in the game. FedEx Field erupted into chants of "RG III" as the training staff tended to him. Griffin walked off the field on his own power, but the injury looked quite serious, and Kirk Cousins will likely enter the game on Washington's next drive.

Marshawn Lynch ran 27 yards down the right sideline, getting a big block from Russell Wilson, scoring his first touchdown of the game and giving the Seahawks a 19-14 lead. The Redskins have been unable to get their offense together since the first quarter, and were lucky they didn't give up the lead earlier - a key forced fumble on the goal-line stopped an earlier Seattle score. On the two-point conversion attempt, Wilson completed a pass to Zach Miller, making the score 21-14 Seahawks.
As it stands, Lynch has run 17 times for 129 yards.

After a Steven Hauschka field goal and a Russell Wilson touchdown, the Seattle Seahawks trail the Washington Redskins 14-10 with about four-and-a-half minutes left in the first half. After two straight touchdowns to the start the game for the Redskins, Seattle has begun to inch back, led by 109 total yards from Russell Wilson. The Redskins have struggled in the quarter, with just four offensive plays, but will have one last chance in the half.

After the Seahawks' first drive ended in a London Fletcher sack of Russell Wilson, Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins have expanded their lead against Seattle in the first round of the playoffs. RG III completed his second four-yard touchdown pass of the game - this time to Logan Paulsen, to make the score 14-0 Washington. It was Paulsen's second catch of the drive - on the first he rumbled forward for 11 yards. Griffin was hit after the play (roughing the passer was called), and came up favoring his knee. We will keep you updated on his status.

The Washington Redskins have taken an early 7-0 lead over the Seattle Seahawks in Wild Card Weekend thanks to an opening-drive touchdown from Robert Griffin III to Evan Royster. Royster, without a touchdown reception all-season, curled in the middle of the end zone on third down and caught the pass from four yards out. On the drive, Alfred Morris ran four times for 34 yards, Griffin completed three of four passes for 43 yards, and Pierre Garcon caught two passes for 39 yards.
