The Lions are taking a chance on the Redskins former 2nd round 2008 draft pick who announced his "retirement" last year.

Well, this is something I wasn't expecting to see today. The Lions signed the former Redskin today. Other passed over WRs the Lions signed:
- Marko Mitchell
- Terrence Austin (this year)
Of course, Devin Thomas "retired" after winning the Super Bowl with the Giants, which is the equivalent of breaking up with your super hot girlfriend of three days because you know she has zero interest in you. Anyway, when I had the chance to hang out with Devin for half the day right after Shanahan came into power, I had high hopes for Devin, but of course as we all know, that physical talent only showed up on online rag magazines that Ken Meringolo frequents.
This pic is Ken's screensaver: Devin Thomas Bed
Devin Thomas' career stats look like something Pierre Garcon puts up in two games: 43 rec, 482 yards, 3 TD. And of course, there's the time Devin Thomas fell asleep during a team meeting, which hit Twitter.
Someone tell Malcolm Kelly to turn his phone on.
