1. The Skins will average at least 21 points per game-
Robert Griffin III will jumpstart this offense!
His arm is a machine weapon and he will be able to test defenses deep down the field.Teams will also have to account for him as a runner. The Skins finally have BIG WR's to use(Garcon, Morgan, Hankerson) in their offense and they can now move a slimmed down Santana Moss to the slot where he will kill with his speed. The also have speed they can utilize with Banks and Briscoe. The running game will be effective because i believe that Royster and Morris will bring the sledgehammer style of running between the tackles, while Helu will bring the gamebreaker style of running. Also like i said, teams will have to account for Griffin in the run game, The Skins might use some option plays with him. As long as they don't turn it over, i cannot see this team averaging less than 20 a game, which they have done the last 4 seasons.
2. The Skins will finish Top 5 in total defense
Bowen, Cofield, Carriker, Kerrigan,Flecther, Riley and Orkapo.LOL It will be a problem. The Skins have so much talent and depth up front and at the linebacker position. I see a lot of sacks, QB hits and hurries. Yes i understand that the back end of defense is very questionable, but i just feel that the Skins will dominate at will upfront and be stout against the run.
3. The Skins will finish no worse than 8-8
I think that the Skins have made significant improvements to this roster. They finally have a YOUNG, super talented QB that has tremendous upside and potential. They have upgraded the WR core, with YOUNG talent that have ideal size at that position. They bring back a ton of depth on their defensive line and linebacker position. I see a 2 to 3 game win improvement at worse and possibly a wild card. Yes.
