RB Ryan Grant is signing with the Redskins after mulling offers from multiple teams. Worked out for Bears today before deciding
The only sense I can make of this is that Helu and Royster are more dinged up than we thought. Or perhaps Alfred Morris is slightly ailing. Rotoworld reported that he had an "impressive" workout with the Bears, but I'm bearish on that.
Last season Grant played in 15 games where he had 134 rushes for 559 yards (4.2 average). He's 29 years old and has just under 1000 career rushes. In 2010 he had a season ending ankle injury.
