Hi Skins fans,

I am a long time Miami Dolphins fan. Indeed, the very first game I remember watching as a kid was when John Riggins ran all over my team to win the Super Bowl. Still, I was hooked.

I am writing here to get your opinions on Anthony Armstrong. I remember him from Preseason a few years back when we waived him. He was injured, but the general fan feeling was positive towards him. We watched enviously as he put up a decent season for you guys a couple of years back. He was for you what we thought Ted Ginn and later Clyde Gates was going to be for us: someone who could stretch the field.

Now, I know Anthony Armstrong is a roster cut and nothing more. I am not expecting him to be a pro-bowler, and I can’t even be certain he will average. That being said, I am hopeful for two reasons. The first is that he is 2 seasons away from having put up respectable numbers. The second is that a hat stand would be an upgrade for the current Miami Dolphins WR corps (outside of Davone Bess, who is a good slot guy)

With that, I will ask my questions: Who is Anthony Armstrong as a Receiver? What are his strengths and weaknesses? Why did he lose his roster spot? Do you think he still has the ability to contribute in this league?
