Am I alone in thinking that the timing of this move just seems kind of strange? I listened to an interview of Cooley on the Mike Wise show friday, and they indicated that 20 teams were interested in signing him. To me this looks like the Seahawks, who have no problem signing older receivers, are interested in Cooley, releasing their star, to make a statement. This bothers me because I just am stuck in this fantasy that he will come back and save us at the vet. minimum after our tight ends are decimated by injuries.
