The Redskins have a few lingering, minor injuries so here's the latest from today's practice via beta reporters @Tarik El-Bashir and @SkyKerstein:

• Roy Helu did not practice and that both of his Achilles are sore.
• London Fletcher did practice fully after an "illness"
• Kory Lichtensteiger practiced in drills today. First time in awhile.
• Shanahan says Hightower practiced today and is a little sore. He'll play Saturday if soreness is gone.
• Orakpo and Merriweather will not be playing in the next two pre-season games (and they're fine).
• Gomes' left ankle is sore but should play this week.
• Anthony Armstrong will play Saturday
• Shanahan said 1st team offense will play into 2nd half vs Colts, but not complete the 3rd quarter.
• Shanahan wouldn't give an update on Jammal Brown except that he had a second cortisone shot in hip.
