I've managed to get my hands on tickets to the Redskins home opener against the Bungals, but I'm from the UK so I have absolutely no local knowledge of the D.C Area! We're thinking of getting a hotel in Landover and catching a taxi, or walking to FedexField but we're not sure if the taxi's run on gamedays or if they will take us to the game (I've heard traffic is terrible.) If any other out of towners have made the trip, what did you guys do?

If you guys have any other information or tips for gameday they would be most appreciated too!

I'm also going to be at the Tampa game, and I was wondering if anyone else was making the trip
