Here is a sticky situation . You have a guy in Brown who has under performed , I think mostly do to injury .

What do you do ? The issue really is with his contract . It is perhaps one of the worse ones on the team

2012 salary 4.75 mil release fee 6.0 mil

2013 salary 5.0 mil release fee 4.5 mil

2014 salary 6.75 mil release fee 3 mil

2015 salary 7.0 mil release fee 1.5 mil

There isnt really any cap relief til 2014/15

What do you do ? Do you cut him and eat 6 mil now ? Do you eat 4.5 mil in 13 or do you wait till 14?

My thought is to try and play him while grooming his successor but this has to be one of our worst contracts on the team
