currently Santana Moss is the skins slot wr and its looking like he will enter the season right there in that spot. with added additions (morgan, Garcon) and the recent come back of a healthy hankerson and moss added plus
others.some ppl may say that the skins Wr core is set and deep.
but it seems as tho the skins are trying to get younger and moss is old so his time is coming to and end. and the slot receiver is becoming more and more important in todays football. (welker cruz) jus to name a few.
we can say that the skins are comfy with the recivers we got now to fit it in but lets not forget the strong push we made for Eddie Royal..so its almost like we settled... and anyone behind Garcon hank and morgan arent set for the future
so should we look to the 2013 for slot wr to play in between the numbers for miss matches to succeed moss? if so i would like to look at Tavon Austin speedy receiver out of Wvu
A lightning quick and elusive wide out in the mold of Percy Harvin, the 5'9" Austin caught 101 passes last year for 1,186 yards and eight touchdowns. In a September matchup against the Honey Badger and LSU's stout defense, he caught 11 passes for a season-high 187 yards. He followed that up with a four touchdown performance in last year's Orange Bowl against Clemson, as the Mountaineers put up 70 points on the Tigers.
a play maker paired with RG3 in our wr core for the future would could be a scary site for the rest of the nfl.. what you think
