First reported by our friends over at Rant Sports, Mike Shanahan is continuing his past of ways of bringing in former Super Bowl winning Denver Broncos to talk to the team. Rod Smith and Shannon Sharpe are in town to talk to the team.
In July of 2010, Shanahan brought in Terrell Davis and Steve Atwater as training camp assistants. Chris Samuels also got his first coaching gig that summer with the Redskins. Team chemistry and camaraderie are crucial for success and clearly the Redskins are continuing with that motion. I recall Jim Zorn brought in Steve Largent, and obviously that didn't do much for our wide receivers. So, I still have the Redskins' Super Bowl parade hats on hold.
