As many of you remember before the draft I was a very high supporter of Justin Blackmon, even mentioning we should trade up to get him. Well as it appears he hasn't grown up much since his DUI his sophomore year at OSU. See here. Justin Blackmon not only was driving drunk but had a BAC of .24. I've only been drunk once (yes I puked, no Idea what my BAC was) in my life but I know at .40 you can die and .50 you are dead. Maybe you all can help me out here as to how drunk this man actually was.

Now lets hope this is a one time thing for the young man, but it really doesn't seem so, given his past history. Let this just be a testament to our scouting department to not only evaluate talent but to also evaluate character (I much prefer a woman carney stabber than a drunk).

Lastly, Its great to keep up with the other first round rookies to compare to our very own. The debate this year will continue between Okung and Williams, Kerrigan and Smith/Miller and this year to Luck and Griffin III. But we can compare all draft picks in terms of production. Lets just be happy that aside from WIlliams, none of Shannys high profile draft picks are out there causing any trouble.
