Yesterday I took a look at how many offensive lineman I would want to keep on the Redskins final 53 man roster. The topic of today's thread, the defensive line.
Last year, the Redskins finished with seven defensive lineman on the roster. But when running the 3-4, I feel like they could get away with just six, or maybe even five. Here's who's currently on the roster:
Nose Tackle
Chris Baker
The defensive ends are up after the jump.

I think I would go with just six, and try to save a roster spot to use elsewhere. Defensive line is a fairly strong position for us. Bown, Carriker and Cofield managed to carry most of the load last year, and having Jenkins back should take up the majority of the snaps. On top of those two, I'd keep Chris Nield as a back up nose tackle, and either Golston or Worthington as the extra defensive end.
Who would you keep? Let us know in the comments below.
