The summer, offseason phenomenon sweeping the nation Slow News Day returns to it's scheduled Thursday slot! I know you've been waiting patiently. This weeks Slow News Day focuses on the hypothetical of all hypotheticals, let me lay it out for you:
Oklahoma City has just built a brand spanking new, state of the art football stadium in hopes to attract an NFL franchise. After failing to trade for Tim Tebow, Shadid Khan decides to move the Jaguars to Oklahoma City where they have been renamed the Brick City Barons. As part of the deal Khan also obtains the OKC Thunder. Now... he knows Blaine Gabbert isn't the answer, so he needs a quarterback and wants Robert Griffin III. In exchange for RG3 he offers DC back one of its native sons, Kevin Durant.
God knows the Wizards need all the help they can get, so as a DC sports fan would you trade Robert Griffin III for Kevin Durant? Could Durant + Wall = Championship? Maybe this is why we drafted Kirk Cousins?
