It's not just VA Tech that gets nation TV coverage anymore. That's right, the matchup you have been waiting for, William and Mary vs. Towson on national TV

RICHMOND, Va. (June 8, 2012) - Six CAA Football games will be televised nationally on the NBC Sports Network during the 2012 season as part of the conference's new five-year broadcast agreement.

The schedule begins on Saturday, September 8 as Delaware entertains Delaware State in the "Route 1 Rivalry" at 3:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 15, defending CAA Football champion Towson hosts William and Mary at Noon.

There are two conference showdowns in October. Towson travels to James Madison at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 6 and Delaware visits Old Dominion at Noon on Saturday, October 27.

The national television schedule concludes with a pair of November league contests. Towson makes the short trip to Delaware for a Noon kickoff on Saturday, November 3 and in-state rivals Old Dominion and James Madison will meet in the regular season finale at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 17.

The NBC Sports Network, which is the 24/7 cable platform for NBC Sports, is available in more than 75 million homes. The network features coverage of the Olympic Games and Trials as well as the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, the IZOD Indy Car Series and the Tour de France.

NBC Sports' college football studio team of Liam McHugh, Doug Flutie and Hines Ward will provide pre-and post-game coverage on NBC and NBC Sports Network every Saturday. Game commentators will be announced closer to the start of the season.

CAA Football will also have 13 games televised regionally through its partnership with Comcast SportsNet. That schedule will be released next week.

Sat., Sept. 8 Delaware State at Delaware - 3:30 p.m.

Sat., Sept. 15 William and Mary at Towson - 12:00 p.m.

Sat., Oct. 6 Towson at James Madison - 1:00 p.m.

Sat., Oct. 27 Delaware at Old Dominion - 12:00 p.m.

Sat., Nov. 3 Towson at Delaware - 12:00 p.m.

Sat., Nov. 17 Old Dominion at James Madison - 7:00 p.m.
