Having had a full week or so to digest the Cousins pick and hearing all of the "analysts" crush the Front Office, I have realized one thing about it. Robert Griffin III is a stud and has the complete and total trust of this organization.

I know a lot of ratings drivers at the four letter may want you to believe the opposite, but think for a second. If they thought RGIII was not going to excel or he was soft at all mentally, they would not have made this pick. They believed in HIM enough to pick a backup QB in the 4th round. That says a lot about what they think of their second overall pick.

In previous regimes I could have seen the FO coddling the new QB and skipping over a STEAL of a pick in the 4th round only to not hurt the feelings of their new shiny toy. Not this regime. They are the no nonsense, show up and play football kind of leaders that win championships.

This move has given me more confidence in not only our new QB, but also the GM, Coach and even owner (for letting grown ups make decisions) that excites me more than anything this team has done in the past decade.
