While perusing PFT this morning (while trying my hardest not to do any work...while at work), I watched the video with Peter King and Florio discussing some hot button issues. Later in the video....prolly the 15 min mark, they started to discuss Griffin and the Skins.

He mentioned that while Kyle was going to visit him before the draft, part of his goal was gauging how fast RGIII could pick up the playbook and adjustments since most people considered the offense ran at Baylor as a vanilla spread offense. He said Kyle came away extremely impressed and that seems to be confirmed with the reports coming out of OTAs from the vets and reporters. He also said that as long as they can realize that he shouldn't be running all the time and can make sure he develops into a pocket QB first, he expects success relatively early. He also states that between the Skins defense, the offense, and Griffin's skillset, he wouldn't be surprised if RGIII and the Skins make the playoffs in year 1. I am not sure what to think of it but I know I like seeing the media is drinking the Kool-Aid with me.
