The middle of May is awful. There is absolutely zero NFL activity, well except Tim Hightower re-signing (earth-shattering, I know.)
So what better time to roll out my NFC division predictions?!
Disclaimer: Don't make any bets based on these, because I'm mostly full of shit...like every other blogger on the internet.
But Enjoy.
NFC EAST :
1st Place - Washington Redskins (12-4)
Yeah, that's right. I said it. RG3 is fucking awesome. No further explanation needed, other than the fact that I'm a homer.
2nd Place - New York Giants (10-6)
I hate the Giants. I really do. We all know they will be pretty good. We all know Eli Manning will throw some passes he has no business throwing, but the receiver will catch it. Justin Tuck, JPP, yada-yada-yada.
Blah...
3rd Place -Dallas Cowboys (8-8)
Jerry Jones still hasn't gotten rid of that idiot Tony Romo. Fine by me. He puts up decent enough numbers in the regular season to not get fired, but there is something wrong with his brain.
During the last regular season game, with a playoff spot on the line, you just KNEW Romo was going to choke. Just knew it.
That play on 3rd and 6 or whatever, where he was scrambling around, then runs about eight feet past the line of scrimmage before throwing is his career condensed to one play.
And why during Cowboys games do they show Rob Ryan on camera at least 2,366 times?
4th Place - Philadelphia Eagles (5-11)
Mike Vick will get hurt sometime around the first quarter of the first game. Season over. Goodbye Philly.
