In less than 24 hours John Harbaugh went from saying that the Patriots Championships are Tainted, to it is public perception, and not his opinion, that the Patriots championships were tained from Spygate.
Come on Ravens Coach, don't let your wimpy team "make you" change your mind on what you believe.
Yesterday on a baltimore radio station courtesy of profootballtalk.com:
“In the end, everything is brought before the light of day,” Harbaugh said. “Even the thing in New England, no matter whether those things had any impact on whether they won their championships or not, they got asterisks now, it’s been stained. So to me, it’s never worth it. You’ve got to figure out ways to use the rules to your advantage.”
Harbaugh said he and the Ravens organization are always careful to make sure they’re in compliance with the rules of the NFL.
“If you’re cheating, in the end, you’re going to get discredited,” Harbaugh said. “It’s just not worth it.”
Just now he said:
“I answered a question about playing within the rules and referred to the perception that the Super Bowl championships won by the Patriots and Saints have a stain,” Harbaugh said. “My reference was to the perception out there that came as the result of the league’s actions.”
No wonder why you can't beat the Steelers in the Playoffs
