Cowboys Targeting Mark Barron Or Dontari Poe With The 14th pick

Stay connected for news and updates

Tony Pauline of SI.com has been reporting that the Cowboys are interested in selecting safety Mark Barron with the 14th overall pick should Dontari Poe be off the board.

SI.com draft analyst Tony Pauline reports that the Cowboys will target Alabama SS Mark Barron at No. 14 overall if Memphis NT Dontari Poe is no longer on the board. Pauline also considers Poe "likely" to be gone by the time Dallas drafts. CBS Sports' Dane Brugler reported Tuesday that the Cowboys were eyeing Barron, and if these pre-draft reports are to be believed, the team's approach has seemingly been exposed with a fallback option in place. Barron would play strong safety in Dallas. Poe would be a rotational defensive lineman

So would either of these picks worry you as a Redskins fan? Would playing against Poe or Barron twice a year give Dallas an edge? Personally, I would be fine with Poe being a Cowboy. He may have blown up the combine, but his tape can be very average at times. Barron is a good player and would fit a big need for the Cowboys at safety, but 14 might be a slight reach for him. But what do you guys think?
