Redskins Nation took cornerback Justin Bethel out of Presbyterian in yesterday's Community GM. Its been a fun ride and now we're finally at the end. Here are how the picks have stacked up so far.
1st- Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
3rd- Mitchell Schwartz, OT, Cal
4th- Phillip Blake, C, Baylor
4th- Nate Potter, OT, Boise State
5th- Phillip Thomas, S, Syracuse
6th- Justin Bethel, CB, Presbyterian
Here are today's choices
Stanford Broom, Utility, Stanford: The upside of the broom has been documented well here at Hogs Haven. Most draft experts would be surprised to see the broom drop this far, but this would be a real sleeper pick for the Skins.
Long Ding, Kicker, Norwich: The Qing Dao, China native is also a Hogs Haven favorite. Ding is coming off an appearances at the Players All-Star Classic and a senior year where he was four for nine and had a stunning three touchbacks.
Brian Linthicum, TE, Michigan State: Intelligent tight end that only started a year at Michigan State. Linthicum is a solid pass catcher, but needs some work to do in his blocking game.
Tauren Poole, RB, Tennessee: Poole is a versatile back who excelled in a one-cut system at Tennessee. Him or his backup, Bryce Brown, would be a solid pick up for the Redskins to develop another back behind Roy Helu and Evan Royster.
Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State: If you want Colt Brennan 2.0 then Moore is your guy. Obviously there is the height issue/debate, but would Moore be a guy worth taking a flyer on in the seventh round?
