As we all know, the Redskins traded for the 2nd pick with the Rams and the Rams took our pick and traded it to the Cowboys, thus ending up with the 14th pick. With this pick they drafted Michael Brockers, a solid DT that will fit well with their defense. Now, I'm no draft expert and I know very little about the prospects going into the draft except for the one brought up here on Hogs Haven so I looked at different perspectives of the picks on the draft through various outlets and found the one on yahoo particularly funny.
National Football Post: The Rams needed to upgrade the DT position and Brockers has the talent to mature into one of the league's best. He's a former 4-star, 255-pound SLB prospect out of high school who has since gained more than 70 pounds and developed into one of the SEC's top linemen. He needs to mature as a pass rusher, but he has the skills to do so and should be able to anchor the run at a high level early. NFL ceiling: Albert Haynesworth. NFL floor: John Henderson.
Really? You couldn't find anyone better to relate an incoming draft pick than the fat sack of potatoes with a name? I mean, the guy who stomps on players' heads, gets into ridiculous legal situations and lays out on the goal line like he stopped half way on a slip-n-slide, that's the best he's gonna be? Personally, I'd sue for defamation. So yeah, I chuckled a bit, thought you might too.
