Houston Texans free agent kicker Neil Rackers visited the Washington Redskins on Monday, according to a league source.
Rackers 35, connected on 32 of 38 field goals last season, including 4 of 5 on attempts of 50 yards or more. If the Redskins sign Rackers, he could replace incumbent kicker Graham Gano. Gano, 25, made 24 of 31 field goals last season for a 75.6 percent success rate.
The Texans and Redskins had pretty much the same touchback percentage in kickoffs, so Gano doesn't have a lot of pull in that category.
