ESPN980's Chris Russell is reporting that the Washington Redskins are trying to trade wide receiver Jabar Gaffney.

Gaffney was the Redskins leading receiver last year with 68 receptions for 947 yards and five touchdowns. The Redskins already had a log-jam at receiver, before signing free agents Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan. It appears as though the 31 year-old Gaffney is going to be one of the guys to make way for the new young group of receivers.
