We're Redskins fans. Admittedly, every off-season we get a little ahead of ourselves. We're optimists. It's nothing to be ashamed of. It's a good thing.
We're acquiring a "franchise" quarterback, a guy who we expect to be our QB for the next decade, right? So why not allow ourselves to project a teeny bit further out than his rookie season. Let's set aside our rookie QB's first season for a moment and imagine his 2nd season. Imagine the unimaginable happens. During his 2nd season he turns the ball over on picks and fumbles as many times as he throws TDs.
Poll
Who "Primarily" Would Be at Fault?
No one. This is a reasonable statistic for an elite QB his 2nd year. (26 votes)
Our O line (15 votes)
Our Receivers (2 votes)
The QB. He will have failed to meet my expectations for his scoring versus turnovers. (12 votes)
The Shanahans (failed to customize and run their offense in line with our QB's talents and experience.) (12 votes)
Other (5 votes)
This won't happen ( ...and BTW, what a lame poll ! ) (64 votes)
