So I was thinking, if the cap penalty is not like "real money" and it just limits our spending this year and next, then we get the full cap room back in 2014 correct!? Soooo, this just means that in RG3/Luck's 3rd season we will have whatever cap room we have PLUS we get that 18mil back(if it was split 18 mil/18 mil over the 2 seasons). Basically it just ensures us not blowing our wad in FA this season and next (positive spin), and will allow us an opportunity at a great off-season then.

Let me know if i'm looking at this wrong or I have the general idea. If i'm right, yes it sucks for now, but could be a blessing in disguise later
