There has been a debate over which QB is better Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III. They are both outstanding QB prospects and are really close overall, there are some things that one QB does better than the other guy, one guy ran a Pro offense, while the other guy has a stronger arm and better accuracy, one guy has been the consensus best QB prospect for the last 2 years, while the other guy put together a equally as impressive resume' in his college career.
As a Redskins fan however I am very happy that Andrew Luck will be selected by the Colts in this upcoming draft, besides the fact that I think Griffin III is slightly better now and have more potential or as some say have a higher upside, but also the Redskins organization seem to prefer RG3 over Luck and i would like for the Skins to get "their guy" that they traded a lot of picks to acquire, cause in reality everybody know they traded for RG3 and i believe they would select him 1st overall if they had that pick.
Some within the Redskins organization actually have Griffin graded out higher than Luck. In fact, one person said he thought Griffin was "hands down" better than Luck -- and it wasn't until members of the organization watched Luck in person that they realized the margin between the two was closer than originally believed.
Team sources currently believe, although not specifically told by Griffin, that he does very much want to play for the Redskins. One team source believes he'd prefer it.
To me it is a great match, Bruce, Mike, and Kyle prefer Griffin III and Griffin III prefer to play for the Redskins, so we as Redskins fans should be excited that the Colts take Luck cause the Skins would get who they wanted all along.
I feel Merill Hodge's frustration with the heated debate with Herm, McShay, and Kiper, but i am so glad that despite what the tape say that Luck will be a Colt, and Griffin will be a Redskins HTTR!!!
