Throughout the whole rebuilding process, one thing that seemed to be "a lock" was having our franchise safety, LaRon Landry. But, as we know, nothing ever lasts for ever. Now, the question of Safety is ever more unclear.

Anyway, I've been doing some research on Safeties and now doesn't seem like the right time to rebuild that portion of the secondary--as only a handful of capable safeties have entered the 2012 NFL Draft.

However, looking forward, Safeties will be fruitful in the upcoming year. That's why, this year I believe the Redskins will be mediocre at Safety, much like last year seeing that O.J. and LaRon where mostly injured. Next year, look for the Redskins to draft a Safety in the second round, or even in 2013.
