Hey guys,
I updated my mock draft to reflect the Redskins offseason so far. You can read the entire Mock Draft Here! (note though this was done before the Tebow trade and the Saints Bounty penalty, so those picks and needs will change).
Round 1: Robert Griffin: This pick is pretty obvious and will of course only change is the Colts grab him instead.
Round 3: OT Nate Potter: Not addressing the offensive line in free agency leaves this as a major need. If a safety like Markelle Martin is on the board the Skins could go there as well.
Round 4: CB Casey Hayward: Hayward worked with the Skins at the Senior Bowl, and I really like his upside and work ethic.
Round 4: G/T Jeff Allen: Allen is overlooked by a number of people but I think he's a great value pick in the 4th round. Guard is probably his best position, but he can help out at tackle as well. That added versatility is huge for the Skins going forward.
Round 5: DE Jaye Howard: Howard I think has really good upside, and could be a nice roational defensive lineman. The Redskins can't afford to get complacent on defense, and Howard is a really nice addition.
So what do you think? Will these picks be on the board? Should the Skins have gone for other positions or players?
