Good news, bad news here. The Eagles have traded for Pro Bowl middle linebacker DeMeco Ryans formerly of the Houston Texans. The Eagles swapped 3rd rounders and gave their 4th rounder to the Texans.

So the bad news is the Eagles finally found their starting middle linebacker, and a good one at that. The good news is that the Eagles are now out of the linebacker market which leaves one less suitor for free agents London Fletcher, David Hawthorne, and Curtis Lofton.
