These are my picks for the 2012 draft after we traded up for the 2nd pick. This draft still leaves holes in our defensive secondary but I felt it was better to get players that I thought could contribute now rather than reach for a position of need. I am hoping we add some more secondary depth through free agency as well as another offensive lineman.
st: Robert Griffin III QB Baylor- or Luck if Indy pulls a fast one
rd: Brandon Boykin CB Georgia –love this kid hoping the injury allows him to drop/ big time versatile playmaker and kick returner
th: Greg Childs WR Arkansas- big target for RG3 that can stretch the field as well
th: Audie Cole ILB NC State- would add some depth and could develop into a star (hoping we resign Fletcher)
th: David Molk C Michigan- he is a beast and used to blocking for a dynamic QB
th: Akiem Hicks DT Regina- developing big d line prospect to add depth in case of injuries
th: Donald Stephenson OT Oklahoma- liked him when he was projected as UDFA now he is shooting up the boards
