So it looks like it didn't take too long for the Redskins to impress corner Cedric Griffin with this visit today. Josina Anderson is reporting he's already signed.

Agent Brian Overstreet just told me that CB Cedric Griffin has agreed to terms on a 1-year deal worth $2.5million max with the Redskins.

Another short, cheap contract guy. Griffin is six foot, around 200lbs and 29 years-old. More to come as we get it.

Update:

Twitter rumors flying around that Griffin could be moved to free safety. Some teams apparently liked him better as a safety coming out of the draft, while the Vikings considered the switch before releasing him.
