How the Redskins can survive the Cap penalties and still add talent!

Hey guys I just wrote a blog post on how the Redskins can survive the cap these next two years and who are some of the top free agents I'd target. You can read the whole thing Here! but I'll post some of the highlights. I've discussed many of these thoughts in other posts or comments but they are all codified now.

Highlights:

-Through various cuts and trade the Redskins can save about $18 million off the cap each of the next two years (which coincidentally is what they are losing each of the next two years).

-The Redskins should make the tough call and decide to go for a younger ILB whom they can spread out the money over a longer contract giving them increased cap flexibility.

-With Colston off the market the Redskins need to focus their resources on the offensive line and defensive backs.

-Washington won't be able to fill as many holes as before, but they can still have a pretty productive free agent class.

Let me know what you guys think?
