I know some people are upset about the trade to #2 because we gave up three potential good players via draft but also consider this… Assuming, STL takes Luck and we get RG3. Our offense will FINALLY have the opportunity to play together for years. With our monster draft class last year, our depth chart will look something like this for years to come. QB – RG3 RB – Helu, Royster FB – Young WR – FA (VJax/Meachem/Manningham), Lenny Hank, Niles Paul, Terrence Austin TE – Davis, Cooley LT – Williams LG – Hurt RG – Chester C, RT IMO will be addressed this Free Agency DE – Carriker, Bowen, Jenkins NT – Cofield, Nield, OLB – Orakpo, Kerrigan ILB – (Fletch/Someone in FA), Riley CB – Hall/Wilson S – Landy/Atogwe (some big "if’s" there), Gomes That’s the 1st time that I can remember having a core group of young talented guys. And we still have 6 picks this year (3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 7). If the growing pains with RG3 (or Luck if he falls) are minimal, we could be in store for a good football team the next 5-10 years. It doesn’t hurt that we have 40 mil in cap space either. I’m crazy excited. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!
