Here's a hypothetical (That's an important word, don't treat it as anything more, and don't kill each other lol)
This is crazy from the start, but I've heard it tossed around and I myself have thought about it.
I'd like to think most of us are ecstatic about the trade Friday night and what it means for us going forward. Of course, since the trade happened, we've been shoulder to shoulder, chanting RG3's name like a scene out of We Are Marshall, and that's led me to this thought, is there any chance we're jumping the gun here? The answer is of course, not at all...
However, it led me to another thought, and here's the hypothetical. Say by some chance Indianapolis were to fall in love with Griffin over the next few weeks and, come draft day, decided to go with him over Andrew Luck at No. 1, WOULD THERE be a part of you that would be disappointed?
This is my dead honest opinion, when I thought about it, there was a part of me that was!
Andrew Luck is thought to be the best prospect to come out since maybe Peyton in '98, but I've fallen in love with the idea of Griffin being a Redskin, that I think by now, I'd prefer him to Luck. It's like he's already a beloved Redskin.
I'm curious is anyone else has fallen this hard. Put away the analytical side and be fans. Don't give me "Indy would never do that," that's not the point. When you think about it, would you rather have Griffin than Luck? It's as simple as that.
