For this Fanpost, I would like to highlight Fumbles, The Chihuahua/Terrier Mix. If you haven't been watching, Fumbles has been all over the field today, scoring a Puppy Bowl record 3 touchdowns by halftime. His game-breaking speed has kept the defense chasing his tail, as he breaks contain and runs from one side to the field to the next without the defenders even laying a paw on him.
However, one of his underrated qualities is his abilities as a defensive back. He has the talent to become a shutdown corner at the next level. His ability to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage has kept the opposing offense contained. Also, he's a sure tackler, and has even has a forced fumble in the Puppy Bowl.
The only drawbacks he may have is his size. While he still has room to grow, he does have some chihuahua in him, and might not grow into a large enough size. My only fear is that he becomes another Kareem Jackson, the Texans CB who has become a major disappointment as an NFL player. However, I feel that he could project to a #1 CB at the next level. He could be had for an early 2nd round pick, and would also allow us to cut DHall
Cheers and Hail
