Finally after two weeks of discussion about a Gronkle the Super Bowl is nearly upon us. I don't get too excited for the game any more, generally because its depressing as a Skins fan. The same staff members that have been giving picks throughout the playoffs submitted their Super Bowl picks, along with some prop bets.

i picked the pats to beat the saints when the playoffs started

so i gotta stick with it. but i got a feeling the giants will win. i kinda think the pats are the underdogs so maybe the giants will finaly lose a superbowl

I’m surprised to see so many ppl picking the Pats since:

- Their defense is horrible.
- They have a WR playing slot CB
- Gronk’s injury is worse than people think (imo). Their offense is much different with him out of the game or hobbled.

Why the Pats could win:

- Ken predicted Giants. I’m re-thinking this now.

High ankle sprain injuries always run 3 weeks…sometimes 4 (see Trent Williams and any other one). All the pressure on that foot goes into blocking, pushing off, making cuts…he can’t be effective.

Of course, TO came back from a broken foot to light it up in the Super Bowl so anything is possible…esp when you have porn stars nursing you to health.

He's more of a straigh-line runner and can be a decoy.

All the pressure on that foot goes into blocking, pushing off, making cuts…he can’t be effective.

But apparently the key to the game is Julian Edelman.

I was struggling with this decision too

made even worse by the fact my Dad and best friend are Pats fans.
In the end i’ve decided I just can’t root for the Giants so i’m reluctantly going for the Pats.

I think this post proves that Parks is a degenerate gambler

taking guys like Chung, and Ballard, Riptide Rush etc. are all tell-tale signs of a gambler chasing that one big score.

Just think:

If the Giants win, it will be the second consecutive season that we beat the Super Bowl Champs during the regular season. Only in this instance, we beat them twice.

Damn Kevin 41-17 Giants ?

Key to beating the Giants is putting pressure on Eli. IMO the Patriots rattle Eli early and force him into making some bad decisions ( couple pics or fumbles ) Pats win 30-20. Would not mind the Giants winning though. Nice for someone in the NFC east to win the SB except Dallas of course.
