So early monday morining thought to get us going for the week, what do you consider the best path for the Skins going foward?

1. Signing Peyton as a free agent, this keeps our draft picks including options to trade out of 6. I would like to see us pick up another QB either late in the first by trading out of 6 and getting a lower 1 and and a 2 or picking up a QB in the second round.

2. Giving up the reported 1,2,3 and a 1 next year for RG3, also keep in mind now that this is out there this is just the baseline more may get thrown in. As more teams get interested and as we get closer to the draft I have a feeling what we give up could become more.

To me going with #1 means we DO NOT take weeden he is already older and 2-3 years behind Peyton puts him in his 30 before he has started a game. Going by the rankings that would leave us Foles, Wilson, Cousins to draft and develop. Obviously staying at 6 and taking a CB or OL is not a bad option either. We fill more holes and dont have to spend as much on free agents or spend more on 2-3 guys we really want/need (CARL NICKS).

#2 presents the toughest choice RG3 is looking like a champ but at what cost? i understand with Peyton we have another stop gap in the QB position but do we really set ourselves back further signing a proven winner with an incentive loaded contract or do we mortgage the future to get RG3. Again losing 1,2,3 and 1 next year means we do a lot more signing through free agency and less development of guys in house. The shanaplan has seen the skins going for value and not overspending to much. If the browns, dolphins, seahawks want to give more than the 1,2,3 and 1 i say let them. Even at the price im not sure i like the idea all for RG3 granted we potentially get a stud at QB for the next 10 years but what do we put around him? anyway just initial thoughts let me know how your feeling....
