ESPN is reporting that Moss doesn't want any upfront money. Just wants to prove he can play again. Is there any way we consider bringing him in to camp at little to no cost? I believe the year he took off was a good thing for him. 2010 was a nightmare but I don't question his physical ability like everyone seems to be doing. He claims to still run a 4.35 40-yard dash.
If Randy Moss truly still runs a 4.35 or even a 4.4, appears to motivated, and willing to sign an incentive-laden contract; what is the risk? I think it is worth a try if we bring in a strong-armed quarterback and improve the interior of our line (Center/Left Guard). To me the biggest thing a QB needs is that interior. They are responsible for creating that pocket to step into in order for a "Moss-type" receiver to catch the long ball for a TD.
