More Clarity on Peyton's Injury

Here is some great information

Star-divide

This was just on NFL network. It is probably the best concise clear picture I have heard on Peyton's injury. It also is from a "real" expert on the subject. This doctor does 150 fusion surgeries a year. He clears up a lot of the misconceptions many in the media have been perpetuating. He makes the same claim I found in the study quoted in my previous post. This surgery has a good recovery rate.

sign him and let him rehab the arm (be open to PUP)

I’m concerned that throwing with an unnatiural motion or with going all out in games will lead to some overuse injury of other parts of his shoulder (as he seeks to compensate for the non-firing tricep). Need to slow him down and let the thing heal.

Give him some sort of contract that is 3 years with options each year. Could be made attractive to him, but give us a cap out if he does not get back after this year.

Peyton manning we dont need !!!!

We need to concentrate on getting younger not getting older , i do not care how much exp,. this guy has , we just dont need someone to come here for just a few years and hope he does not reinjure himself and set our team back not only money for the cap but also in the draft . See if he does a so so job on winning just a few more game then we are right back in the same spot we have been for 20 years and thats looking YET AGAIN for another QB . Why cant people understand WHY THE COLTS are going to cut him ? its because they NEED A YOUNG QB FOR THEIR FUTURE so WHY SHOULD WE NOT TAKE THE SAME APPROACH , this is why our team is so freaking screwed up because of stupid moves like trying to sign has beens at QB spot . Yea i know peyton might have a few years left but ship him off to miami or cleveland or some other team because we dont need this kind of headache again , we need youth not OLD QBs . We need a young QB to fit in with our young players that we are bringing in here to learn together and to work as a team to have that chemistry as a unit . Peyton should either stay with his team or retire we dont need everyone elses garbage to come herte and get rich and retire on us on their downside of there carreer . Bring in youth and you wont have to play musical chairs and keep getting a dam QB every year and i think alot of our fans will agree to that as well .

They aren't cutting him because of age they are cutting him because of the money he costs them

Even if we get a young qb it’s a gamble , if I were to gamble I want to make sure that my hand was the best and Peyton its as sure as you can get

I don't know if anyone else heard it or not....

But Marcellus Wiley was on Mike & Mike last week and was discussing his nerve regeneration issue that he had.

He said that he had suffered an injury with nerve damage and he could not get his nerve to regenerate and get him back to full strength. He said he felt so much pressure at the time because he was drafted by the Bills to be Bruce Smith’s backup. He said he went through tons of therapy and his nerve just wouldn’t respond. At one point he was only squatting like 250 pounds because of how weak his muscles were. He said that one morning he just woke up and his nerve regeneration started firing up and he was back to his old self.

His accounts of similar nerve damage surely lightens the load on whether or not Peyton returns to his old self. The question now becomes: When will Peyton’s nerves respond?
