Peyton Manning...

With all the uncertainty going on with the redskins quarterback situation, if they do go the route of Petyon, which, in my opinion, and my opinion only I think is not the answer. Would you think Manning, or even perhaps the Skins organization would talk to Jeff Saturday about becoming our next center? I know he was talking about retired, and to be honest, I dont kno if he did retire.. But lets be honest, it would make sense... And It would def. help out our O line situation. WIth a move like that, along with petyon, you would have to address o line in the draft, and solidify the line..

Reasonably, it would come down to Manning's requests...

if he truly wanted Jeff, due to their years of “intimate knowledge” of working together, then I would feel it prudent to at least consider it. Now, would Jeff want to keep playing, at what cost, questions such as this would have to be considered.

Common sense tells me, if Manning wanted someone, it would more likely be WR Wayne. It is not only a trust issue, but, more importantly, the connectivity the QB / WR roles play in the offense Manning is accustomed to. They both need to be reading the defense the same way. That is the only way Manning’s audibles work so well, the WRs adjust, reading the same thing, and Manning trusting that the WRs will be where they need to be.
