After the Redskins took the lead with a Kai Forbath field goal, Cleveland is now on top with a 14-10 lead after Trent Richardson's second touchdown. Three big plays took the Browns from within their own territory to dangerously close to Cleveland's end zone - a 12-yard pass to Josh Gordon, a 30-yard pass to Greg Little, and a 16-yard direct snap run by Josh Crabbs. Richardson pounded it in from one yard out, and the Redskins trail with about a minute left in the first half.

The two offenses continue to struggle, but Kai Forbath is on his game. The kicker capped off a drive with a 44-yard field goal, making him 15-of-15 on the season as a Redskin.
After Richard Crawford returned a Cleveland punt five yards, Kirk Cousins completed a six-yard pass to Josh Morgan and then ran for a 17-yard first down. Three plays later, he found Evan Royster on a short pass that went for 25 yards, and that proved to be enough to set up the field goal. After nearly a quarter of dismal offensive output, Kirk Cousins and the Redskins finally put it together. On a play -action roll-out to the right side, Cousins found Leonard Hankerson beyond three Brown defenders. The pass was just beyond the wideout, who juggled it, caught it and fell to the ground. The Cleveland defenders tripped, and Hankers was able to get up and run into the end zone. The play was reviewed, but was confirmed as the Redskins tied the game at 7.
