A little help here. I'm screwed.

Ok, I need some help here. As some of you know, I had knee surgery back in September. Initially, my doctor said I would be out 6 weeks. While I thought that was a bit optimistic, I still figured I'd be back by the end of December. Which is why I entered into a blood pact with my wife that, if I was out until the New Year, I would take her and the kids to see her family in Indiana. Like I said, I had NO INTENTION of being out of work this long.

Unfortunately, today my doctor says I will be out until the 2nd week of January. I was wearing my Redskins sweatshirt and, with him being an Eagles fan, I am skeptical of his intentions. I plan on checking my wife's call log to see if they've spoken.

Anyway, I'm sure you've all figured out my dilemma by now. As it stands, "we" are scheduled to leave on the 26th, back on the 1st. It hurts just writing this. This means I will miss my first Redskins game since 1996. (Pretty sure that's before DCO's conception) To set the complete scenario, my in laws live in the absolute boondocks. The only phone that gets reception on their farm is my Onstar. In other words, no Internet. My sister in law, who lives in Bloomington, only has basic cable, which they barely use. As of now, my only hope is my brother-in-law. He lives in Bedford, and HAD DirecTV last time I was up there. But he was complaining about it at the time, and may have gotten rid of it since. I currently have an email in to him to find out if he still has it and, if so, I offered to pay for him to get Sunday ticket. I don't know if they will make him pay for the whole year, but, frankly, I don't really care right now. If we get knocked out of any chance at contention before then, I may reconsider. But it's Dallas, and the last game of the season. And it's Dallas.

So here's where you all come in. If anyone has any ideas, lemme know. I know there are sites I can stream the game from, but I will most likely only have the iBad. Will they stream to it? And, since my brother-in-law has DIAL-UP, will these public access places like Starbucks, or the library, even allow me to stream? In other words...HELP!!

Frankly, I'm annoyed that my wife is actually holding me to this inhmane deal. It's making me question whether we really belong together. Or maybe I'm just thinking that, if I get a divorce, I won't have to go. I, personally, see sufficient grounds.
