Redskins Mock Draft Time!

Since Mocking the Draft hasn't done a 2nd round draft and there's no fanposts to give the Redskins some love I thought I'd give it a shot.

2nd Round: Tavon Austin, Wide Receiver/ Return Specialist

Although I think this may be a huge stretch ( and bit of a homer pick) it is entirely possible that he will fall due to his height and the bad play of the Mountaineers recently. Even though we have much bigger needs this kid is too good to pass up and an instant upgrade over Brandon Banks. What lacks in size he makes up in blazing speed, great vision, and unbelievable evasion. The mountaineers use him every way imaginable running back, returner, receiver. He's so versatile and can absolutely do the plays that we are failing to do with Banks.

3rd Round: DJ Fluker, Right Tackle

I think we can all agree that Jammal Brown is never going to play again so it is time to look to the future. DJ Fluker out of Alabama would be another upgrade over our current offering (which is not saying much). He is bulldozer on run blocking and would fit perfectly with the Redskins run first offense making more holes for Alfred Morris and RG3. He is although somewhat weak when it comes to pass blocking of course hasn't been coached by Shanahan yet.

4th Round: Baccari Rambo, Safety

Outside of having one of the coolest names I have ever seen he is also has amazing talent. He could of been a 1st round pick this year but he has had problems with drugs and was suspended for four games. With how much talent at safety this draft has he could easily fall into the 4th round.

5th Round: Braden Hansen, Guard/Center

Very versatile and well rounded player can play guard or center with great blocking skills and average pass blocking.

5th Round (from Patriots): Conner Vernon, Wide Receiver

Conner is 6-2 receiver with a 4.50 40 time which is a great combination and could be another weapon down the road for RG3 to carve defenses up with.

6th Round: Brandon McGee, Cornerback

Has the size, speed and potential to be a starter in the NFL but he is inconsistent in his play.

7th Round: Curtis McNeal, Running Back

Another late round running back. Has had problems keeping his grades up which made him ineligible for the 2010 season. He's a speedy running back who likes to play physical maybe Shanahan can work some magic on him

Tell me what you think this was my first mock so any criticism is welcome.
